Structure is one of the most difficult things for progressive rock bands to get right. How do you make a long, complicated song and have it all flow and cohere? Even many popular prog bands struggle with this, so I thought it would be fun to do a series on the different kind of structures used in prog and how to make each of them work.

This should be of interest for any musicians who follow the site. In a pretty cool move, Geryon bassist Nicholas McMaster posted the sheet music/bass tab to "De Profundus," the first track on their self-titled EP, to the band's Facebook page last night. Drummer Lev Weinstein also posted a photo of an incomplete drum transcription for the same song.

You can downlad the tab here.
